Insurance & Fees

Coverage, Costs & Payment

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Tricare, and Medicare. Contact us and we will verify your specific plan before your first session — completely free, no obligation.

Do you offer sliding scale fees?

Yes. We believe cost should never be a barrier to mental health care. Sliding scale fees are available on request — contact us to discuss what works for your situation. We also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement for self-pay clients.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule — we are always happy to work with you.

Is my information private and secure?

Absolutely. All client information is protected under HIPAA and handled with the strictest confidentiality. Our telehealth sessions use fully encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platforms. We will never share your information without your explicit written consent.

Getting Started

Before Your First Session

What happens in the free consultation?

The free 15-minute consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation. We listen to what you are looking for, answer your questions, and make sure Bloom is the right fit. There is no obligation to book a session afterward — we want you to feel confident before committing.

How quickly will you respond to my request?

We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours — often much sooner. If you need to speak with someone urgently, call us directly at (346) 415-5551. We are available 7am to 8pm daily.

How do I know which therapist is right for me?

That is exactly what the free consultation is for. Tell us what you are looking for — your concerns, your preferences, whether you want faith-integrated care — and we will match you with the clinician whose specialty and approach best fits your needs. No guesswork required.

What ages do you work with?

We work with clients of all ages — children, teenagers, adults, and couples. Our adolescent therapists specialize in working with teens from approximately age 12 through 18, and our adult clinicians serve clients from 18 and up. Contact us to confirm availability for your specific age group.

Which states do you serve via telehealth?

When is your McKinney office opening?

Our North Dallas in-person office is opening in McKinney in Spring 2027. In the meantime all North Dallas clients are served via telehealth — secure, convenient, and just as effective as in-person sessions. Join our waitlist to be notified when in-person appointments become available.

Therapy & Services

About Our Approach & Services

What is EMDR therapy?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of the most effective, evidence-based treatments for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain process and reframe traumatic memories — so they no longer hold the same emotional charge. Most clients notice meaningful progress within 8 to 12 sessions.

Do you offer faith-integrated therapy?

Yes — and it is one of the things that sets Bloom apart in North Dallas. For clients who desire it, our therapists naturally and compassionately integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic relationship. This is never imposed — for clients who prefer a secular approach, the same compassionate, evidence-based care applies. You are welcome here exactly as you are.

Do you offer psychological evaluations?

Yes. Dr. Chris Babo, PsyD provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for clients throughout DFW and Collin County. Evaluations include ADHD assessments, learning disability testing, diagnostic clarification, autism spectrum evaluations, and cognitive assessments. Contact us to schedule a consultation with Dr. Babo.
